Not big on hiking or just starting out? No problem, we have the perfect hike for you! Pictured on the left is the Urey Overlook via Mason-Dixon Trail. Just under one mile long, it's one of the easiest hikes you can get to around Philly. It's located in Susquehannock State Park which is just about two hours away from campus. This trail is perfect for a half-day trip with your friends for a fun, effortless, beautiful experience.

For the Experienced
For the hiking aficionado, pictured on the left is the Dunnfield Creek, Mohican Outdoor Center Trail to Mount Tammany. As you can see, Mount Tammany is one of the most captivating nature hikes around Philly. But get ready to break a real sweat and be sore for the next few days because this 20.2 mile hike at an elevation of 2,811 ft is no walk in the park. For our thrill seekers and fitness junkies, this hike can be rewarding in more ways than one.

For the Busy bee
As college students, aren't we all busy (or "busy") all the time? Well, if this is you, you still can enjoy a nice, gorgeous hike that will take less than half a day to travel to and finish. Pictured on the left is the Alapocas Woods Trail. With an average review of 4.2, this hike is one of the best near Philly for a quick adventure with friends. The trail is 1.8 miles long and is just a little over 30 minutes away from campus.

For the influencer
Ah, don't we all want those perfect outdoorsy nature pictures for Instagram? If you're looking for a new addition to the gram, here's the perfect hike for you: Stairway to Heaven. Even the name of the trail sounds promising, doesn't it? From the picture on the left, you can see that this trail is undoubtedly stunning and great for clicking a few pictures to make all your couch potato friends jealous. In fact, with one of the highest reviews at 4.4, this trail will not disappoint.

For the Happy Camper
If you're looking for a nice weekend camping trip with your friends, White Clay Creek State Park is the place for you. With at least 8 trails in the park, your weekend trip is open to several opportunities for fun and adventure. The park is just about 1.5 hours away and you can visit a few or all 8 of these great trails: Chestnut Hill Trail, Bryan's Field Trail, David English Trail, Old Cart Trail to Wendel Cassel Trail Loop, Arc Corner Monument Loop, Millstone Loop, Snow Goose and Lenape Trail, Delaware Arc Monument via Twin Valley Trail.

For the water bug
The soothing sound of creeks, rivers, or waterfalls is one of the best aspects of many trails. If this is something you look for, look no further, we have the perfect trail for you: Buttermilk Falls. The jaw-dropping waterfalls, as pictured in the left, are definitely worth the 2-3 hour drive time and 1.3 mile hike. Take a nice packed lunch and enjoy your food halfway through your hike at the waterfalls before looping back to your starting point. With great reviews at 4 or above, these waterfalls are a must-see.
